We are united by a determination to raise awareness of what is actually happening in Haiti, and the real effects of the Government of Canada's support for the February 29, 2004 coup d'etat that overthrew Haiti's democratically-elected government. We support the list of principles outlined at the international Kongres Bwa Kayiman (KBK) conference of February, 2005, in which Haiti solidarity activists from various countries reiterated their support for Haitian democracy.

Alcan't in India is a solidarity group based in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. It is aimed at supporting the residents of Kashipur, India in their struggle to preserve power over the development of their land and resources. Since 1994, the people of Kashipur have resisted (and so far prevented) the establishment of a bauxite mine and alumina plant - backed in part by Montreal multinational ALCAN - on their land.

A group of artists and activsts, primarily people of colour and queer people, committed to promoting artistic expression and self-representation. They run an art studio for people to learn new skills, share skills and create art. They also host open studios (Saturdays) and workshops, open to the public, for cheap.
