Fee Levy Info

QPIRG Concordia is committed to providing our members access to key documents regarding our status as a nonprofit organization and as a fee levy association on the Concordia campus. Please feel free to get in touch if you have any questions about the information or documents below.

Fee Levy Refunds

For our student members: should you wish to opt out of our fee levy (39 cents per credit for Concordia undergraduate students, and 50 cents per semester for Concordia graduate students) our next opt out period will be January 23-February 3, 2017 (winter session). In order to receive your fee refund you need to visit QPIRG Concordia during the opt out period during office hours. QPIRG Concordia’s next refund period is running from Monday, January 23 to Friday, February 3, 2017. In order to opt-out, please come to our office, 1500 de Maisonneuve W., suite 204, during our office hours (12pm – 6pm) and bring along your student id and show us your student account record with the up-to-date number of credits you are taking (you can provide this info in different ways: by showing your academic record via your own laptop or mobile phone; by logging onto to your myconcordia portal from a computer at our office; or by providing a printout of your record). Refunds will be provided in cash at the fee levy rate of $0.39 per credit/per semester (for undergrads) and $0.50 per student/per semester (for graduate students). Our office space is accessible to wheelchairs. For detailed accessibility information, please click HERE. Please note: While all of the fee levy groups are working to ensure that students wishing to opt-out may do so, fee levy group staff and volunteers will not tolerate disrespectful treatment from students who are opting out. This includes, but is not limited to, racist, sexist, misogynist, homophobic, transphobic, ableist, and/or classist comments and/or actions.

Our current board of directors was elected on September 29, 2016, and is comprised of six Concordia student members and six community members.
