To coincide with the Salon du Plan Nord taking place at the Palais des Congrès
The Plan Nord is an industrial development plan within which the government commits to render infrastructure available to launch a new attack for the exploitation of natural resources north of the 49th parallel.
On April 20th and 21st, mining and forestry industry representatives as well as state representatives and their accomplices will be meeting to promote the Plan Nord for their financial gain.
In solidarity with all communities resisting the development model being imposed on them, in the North as well as in the South, we actively support all communities that have opted to oppose these plans, from the Inuit of Nitassinan to the Cree resisters and all others joined in struggle from other Nations. Together, we are the resistance.
