The Quebec Public Interest Research Group at Concordia (QPIRG Concordia) will be available as a convergence space during the resumption of the student strike in Montreal. Our space is intended both for local students and community members, as well as for people from outside Montreal.
You can come to QPIRG Concordia to get oriented and informed about activities and actions in support of the student strike in Quebec. Our space will include useful informational materials, as well as access to computers, wireless internet and a lounge space to chill out or for meetings. There will also be snacks available. This is not a space for sleeping (check out the housing board at to arrange housing) but rather a welcoming and convergence space to check-in about student strike support activities. We will be able to correspond with visitors in French and English.
There will also be quiet, less public spaces near the QPIRG Concordia Welcome & Convergence Center for people who need a less busy chill out space, or for active listening and support.
The QPIRG Concordia space is open for regular office hours between Monday to Thursday, 12-6pm. However, during the week of August 13-17 (including Friday), we will be open from 9am to 9pm.
