Poster Archive Coordinator
About the position
The Poster Archive Coordinator will work alongside the Alternative Library Coordinator, as well as other QPIRG staff and volunteers. This position will concentrate on the development, organization, and publicizing of QPIRG Concordia’s Poster Archive For more information about the Poster Archive, visit https://qpirgconcordia.org/posterarchive/.

Purpose of job
To coordinate development, organization, and publicity of QPIRG Concordia’s Poster Archive, an alternative publicly-accessible archive of political posters covering issues such as anti-racism, global economics, political theory, gender, environmentalism, health, etc.
Duties
• Work with the Alternative Library Coordinator, QPIRG staff and volunteers to plan progamming
• Scan and upload posters yet to be added to the online archive
• Recruit and work with volunteers for the Poster Archive project
• Train volunteers in archive maintenance and organization
• Organize a user-friendly and accessible system for browsing the physical archive
• Organize training sessions for QPIRG staff and volunteers on efficient use of the system
• Develop strategy to publicize the Poster Archive to Concordia students and the broader community
• Submit a written report to the Board of Directors at the end of the contract
