Shared space with closed office available at QPIRG Concordia
About the space
The room will be available as of August 1st, 2023. The entire shared space is 2,417 sqft and is made up of a large lounge and storage area, 3 closed rooms, 2 offices and a gender-neutral washroom. The closed office space is approximately 12’ x 18’ which can comfortably fit at least 3 office desks. Our full rent is approximately 6,586$/month* and we are looking for someone to share half of that (3,293$/month). This does not include internet and cleaning fees (approximately +80$/month).

The QPIRG Concordia office is right by the Concordia University downtown campus and is a block away from the Guy-Concordia Metro. We are located on the second floor of a building beside the Concordia campus. The space is wheelchair accessible.
We are looking for a roommate to share the space. If your organization is interested, but perhaps unable to cover 50% of the rent, please contact us anyways. There are several possibilities about how this could work!

About the shared space
The QPIRG Office is a space that facilitates community organising across Montreal. It is an open and safe space for its working groups and for like-minded individuals to gather. The space is equipped with computers, a conference room, a printer, various storage solutions, a fridge and sink, couches and a private meeting room. The space also holds ressources through its collection of pamphlets and flyers, the poster archive and the Alternative Library.
About QPIRG Concordia
The Quebec Public Interest Research Group at Concordia is a resource centre for student and community research and organising. We strive to raise awareness and support grassroots activism around diverse social and environmental issues. Our work is rooted in anti-oppression analysis and practice. We seek to make campus-community links and inspire social change through engaging, inclusive and non-hierarchical approaches.
